4 Best Grow Lights for Succulent 2021

In this article we’ll list out the 3 best grow lights we’ve found that work super well for succulents. Succulents are hardy plants that need little water but plenty of light. If you’re interested in other kinds of grow lights you can check out the lights tag.

1 - Best for varied plants on a budget - Bifrost Full Spectrum Plant Light

This flexible neck four headed grow light is great for a multitude of plants. The adjustable necks allow you to create a set distance over different types of plants. It may be overkill if you have only a few plants. The lighting fixtures don’t get hot, and these work great for germinating cacti, succulents, and other high light need plants. The only downside of these kind of cheap lights is that they can cast a tinted purple-ish light and dampen the aesthetic around the house if you are growing in the main areas of your home. If you care about aesthetics check out the Aspect Luxury LED Grow Light which is our #3 pick below.

2 - Best for grow tent - Abriselux A1500

If you have a grow tent, straight out of our guide on best lights for 4x4 grow tents 2021, the Abriselux A1500 is one of the best options out on the market. We’ve found it works great for succulents and is one of the best value grow lights on the market if you have a grow tent. If you don’t have a grow tent you may find it’s setup and intensity unweildy. The FAMURS TF1200 is a similar option if you have a grow tent that’s a little smaller and will run you a little less.

3 - Best for aesthetics - Aspect Luxury LED Grow Light

If you’re willing to spend a little more and grow in the main areas of your home where you want to maintain a certain ambience, and you only have a few plants then the Aspect Luxury LED Grow Light is a fit. While some may find the gooseneck variety ugly both in fixtures and light tint, the Aspect Luxury LED Grow Light is a high quality light available in black or white fixtures that would look good in almost any setting. Note that it does need to be hung from above and does not have a built in timer, rather relies on an included socket timer like you might plug a regular lamp into.

4 - Best budget single plant light - Yadoker LED Grow Light

Last on our list is a simple grow light that is mounted in the pot itself making it easy to set up. It has a timer built into the cable that makes it easy to turn on for a preset amount of time and plugs into a standard USB port, making it easy to setup if you have a USB adapter sitting around. While this is better than nothing, this budget option isn’t a super strong light that yields minimal growth for your succulents.
